Take a look at some of these examples of white colored pencil on black paper.

Homework for Wed. October 13th Hateful still life

Find 2-3 items that you cannot stand.  Either the literal things that you do not like or items that represent them.
Set up a very simple basic still life (2-3 items) at your house in a place where it will not get moved for a few weeks.  Light it with a good light source that will not be moved.  Revisit it each week.  You can put as much time as you would like but let that be your go to project for the next few weeks. 

Your goal is to capture your dislike for these items somehow.  Maybe it is the juxtaposition of how they relate to each other.  Maybe it is the dramatic way you light them.  It is your choice how to express dislike for these things. 

The work can be done in any medium.
